(News12 Westchester) — Food industry leaders are stepping in to help laid-off food service workers waiting for business to return to normal.

A team of restaurateurs cooked up a soup plan to save the service industry. The group plans to make a million gallons of soup, which will be frozen and distributed to service workers now out of the job in Westchester County.
